We are a multi-disciplinary clinical service dedicated to supporting children’s residential homes, their staff, and the young people who live in them. Grounded in our model, we take a trauma-informed and life cycle approach — helping children build hope, resilience, and confidence, while equipping staff with the understanding and reflection needed to deliver therapeutic care. Our team includes psychologists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, counsellors, and training clinicians who work together to create lasting, positive change. We believe that every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and capable of becoming the hero of their own story.

Designed to build the skills, confidence, and resilience of residential care teams. Our training sessions blend theory with practical application — ensuring learning can be used immediately and effectively in daily care.

Professional Consultations

We offer consultations on clinical issues and, as standard practice, provide written guidance. This includes discussing the children and young people, their risks, presenting behaviours, and also solutions.

Empowering staff with trauma-informed knowledge, reflection and wellbeing support.

Clinical Training

Advice and guidance is given on a range of psychometric assessment measures we complete. These are baseline assessments, some of which are repeated over time to measure progress.

Staff receive effective training, support, and guidance from the in-house therapeutic clinician that is underpinned by current research. This support enables the staff team to explore children’s complex trauma and associated behaviours and to consider how children’s needs can be met through consistent care responses. This enables children to feel supported, particularly during times of change and adversity.

She provides advice to staff to improve the quality of care provided to the children. There is a wide range of training that staff attend to develop their knowledge and skills to meet children’s individual needs.
